Welcome to our last week for the term.
A huge thank you to Cathy Betts for all the work she has put into our swimming program, including swimming carnivals this year. I had the pleasure of attending each carnival for a small amount of time. The carnivals were fun, relaxed and exciting. Cathy did an amazing job of organising the carnival so that all students could be involved at their level. Cathy you are an awesome PE teacher.
On Monday our Year six students had their final days of primary schooling with their Graduation. The Year six teachers all expressed how this cohort have been amazing and this year has been an enjoyable year for them as teachers. Congratulations to all our Year six students. I wish you all the very best in your future years. Please remember, “you can be whatever you set your heart on – You decide”
On Thursday, 7 December, all students will receive a lunch pack from the school as part of our celebration day. A note has gone home about this. Please contact administration if you child/children cannot.
This day is classed as a ‘Red Food Occasion’, as per the Smart Choices Strategies.
We have asked that you please notify the office on 4975 8333 or email admin@calliopess.eq.edu.au by Tuesday if there were items in the pack that your child/ren cannot have due to allergies.
Report Cards will be emailed out on Thursday. The best place to view them is on the QParents App. You can view all report cards here from any state school your child/children has attended.
A Factsheet about QParents is included in this newsletter. Please see our administration staff for assistance.
A mammoth thank you to all our staff for everything they do for our school community.
