Dear Parents/Caregivers

Half way through the term and I am enjoying the great teaching and learning in the classrooms.

Currently my presence is:

• On the ovals from 8:40am onwards
• Near the bridge at second half of each break time, or somewhere close, for students to be able to seek support if they have an issue
• Doing a lap of the classrooms nearly all days of the week
• Out the front of the school most afternoons, meetings permitting

My work is not to guarantee zero issues (however, we do work towards that goal) because school is about risk management so that students have a chance to socialise and interact. We aim to prevent as many issues as we can, and step out reasonably any issues that happen. My need is for everyone to understand there will always be differing perspectives on student conduct and management, however, we aim to maximum risk management with keeping the ability to have students socialise, interact and play with one another, and use our student code of conduct as consistently as possible.
