The theme of the day for 2022 was “Playing in a Changing World”. The children enjoyed a variety of activities.
What a fun morning for all involved! Please see out Facebook page for more photos.

SAFE AND RESPECTFUL SCHOOL COMMUNITIES
https://education.qld.gov.au/parents-and-carers/safe-and-respectful-school-communities
Your child, our student. One team.
We all deserve respectful, safe and non-violent environments, so aggression and harassment of any kind—physical, verbal or otherwise—isn't acceptable.
When you interact with school staff, remember we're all on the same team to support your child. We all have your child's best interests at heart, and the best way to achieve a positive learning experience is to work together.
Explore tips on communicating and collaborating with school staff to support your child and build a positive school culture in our resources section.
BE SAFE AND RESPECTFUL
Parent and Community Code of Conduct
Our teachers and school staff are vital in shaping the learning and development of future generations.
Despite the influential role our school staff play in our community, the number of incidents where staff experience unacceptable and abusive behaviour is on the increase.
Working with you -
We want to make sure we are all working together for your child, our student. To help do this a Parent and Community Code of Conduct has been developed
The Parent and Community Code of Conduct supports learning, wellbeing and safety in every Queensland state school We welcome parents and other members of our diverse community into schools across Queensland. Working together with their school community , school staff support the learning and wellbeing of every student, and are entitled to a safe work environment.
Parents and other visitors to school’s support safety by ensuring their communications and conduct at the school and school activities is respectful. The
Identifying abuse -
Abuse is a broad term. Offensive behaviour towards school staff can vary in form, frequency and severity, but all of it needs to be taken seriously. Sometimes, abuse and occupational violence take the shape of subtle aggression that doesn't feel like a big deal but still has a significant impact on school staff.
Every action you take has the potential to uplift or tear down, so consider your actions and their impact carefully.
Schools are safe workplaces -
Schools are workplaces, just like any other. We are all responsible for keeping our schools safe and respectful—a safe learning environment for your child, and a safe workplace for our staff. School staff can't give you and your child the support you need if they feel unsafe in their workplace.
SCHOOL OPINION SURVEY 2022
The annual suite of School Opinion Surveys will be conducted in Term 3 and will close on 12 August 2022. All families, school staff and students in target year levels (Years 5 and 6) will be invited to participate. We encourage you to take this opportunity to have your say about what our school does well, and how we can improve.
An invitation to complete the Parent/Caregiver Survey will be emailed to one parent/caregiver per family in the week beginning 11 July. The invitation will be sent from the Department of Education, not the school, and it will have the subject line School Opinion Survey for parents and caregivers, 2022. Check your junk email folders if you can’t find it. The survey can be completed as soon as the invitation is received and will take approximately 5 minutes using a computer, tablet or smart phone.
Parents/caregivers who do not have access to the internet at home are welcome to complete their survey online at the school. School computers/tablets will be available.
