The Positive Behaviour for Learning lesson for week seven is on Safe: Bikes and Scooters. Many of our kids travel to school using bikes and scooters which is why it is important that we constantly revise the safe procedures we insist upon to ensure your child is safe travelling to and from school. These include:

• Dismounting from our bike or scooter at the fence of the pool;
• Walking with our bike or scooter;
• Staying on the inside of the yellow line to ensure there is a substantial gap between the student and cars in the ‘Stop, Drop, Go’ zone;
• Securing our bike or scooter at the bike racks;
• Removing ourselves from the bike racks once our bike or scooter has been sorted.

Please take a moment to go over this with your child/children.

Just a reminder that the end of term rewards day will be a trip to Bunting Park in week 10 for those students who display good behaviour throughout the term. We look forward to seeing your child at the event.
