Welcome to Week 8! Each cohort had an absolute ball for their FFF Water Play session held last week. Year 6 missed out and will be given the opportunity to have water play in Week 9 at a time that is arranged by their teacher.
This week’s focus is ‘I am safe & responsible when I stay in my learning space’.
It is important for safety reasons and for the learning of self and others, that students stay in their learning space. Teachers are legally responsible for students when they are at school, so it essential that teachers can keep students safe and teach. During this week’s lesson we will unpack when students may struggle with being in their learning space and strategies that can assist with this to ensure engagement and learning continues in classrooms. Identifying emotions using the Zones of Regulation will also be discussed.
