5A are having a fun Term 3! In English we are appreciating poetry as we interpret and evaluate poems. This week we are busy writing a poetry analysis with our own personal response to a poem.

In Maths we are continuing patterns by adding and subtracting fractions and decimals and problem solving with financial maths.

In Science we are exploring the transfer of light! Just like scientists, we are conducting fair investigations to explain everyday phenomena associated with the transfer of light and communicating our ideas and findings. In HASS we are investigating democratic values and processes and identifying how legal and environmental issues in Australian communities can be managed.
