4D have been very busy this term. 

In Science this term, we are looking at life cycles of plants and animals. We have looked at the Australian native plant, the Bottle Brush plant. We have researched the life cycle, identified the living and non-living elements in the environment, we discussed how different elements can affect the survival of the plant, and how we as humans can help or hinder the life cycle. To support our understanding as a class we have been trying to grow some plants from seeds, our only success so far has been with our snow peas. Over the next two weeks we are going to research about the Fitzroy River Turtle prior to students choosing their own native Australian plant or animal to research.
