We have been busy reading The Lorax and discussing the importance of taking care of our environment. We have followed through with this theme in Technology and have emptied the Lost Property cages and tallied the number of jumpers, water bottles and lunch boxes there. Surprisingly there was only one school hat!! We are doing good in one area!

We have been busy playing with money in Maths and discovering multiple ways of making a dollar with a variety of coins. Our next step is to calculate change.

Last Thursday we joined 3B for a ballet workshop and had fun learning about the elements of dance and choreographing our own moves. Everyone participated! What a success!

In Science we are investigating heat and having a go at using thermometers. We are very careful and write up risks involved and carefully follow instructions.

We have also been quite busy earning group points to get a special prize at the end of the week.
