PRINCIPAL INFORMATION

I am currently contracted at Calliope State School until September 17, 2021. At this stage, Moira McKenzie will return in term 4. I will continue to update you as I am given further details.

LANGUAGES (JAPANESE)

Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer Japanese in Semesters 2, 2021 at this stage. Our current Languages teachers is making some changes to her teaching arrangement and we have been unable to source a replacement. During the time that the students have previously accessed Languages, they will be working with our Pedagogy teacher focusing other curriculum-based learning areas. 

LOST PROPERTY

We currently have a large collection of Lost Property in the basket outside the office. We encourage parents to come and look through the basket for any lost items from your family.

CONTACT DETAILS

Next week on Thursday, Report Cards will be emailed out to every family. Please ensure you have updated your email address if any changes have been made in the last six months. If you require a paper copy of the Report Card, please contact the office on 4975 8333.

EARLY COLLECTION OF CHILDREN FROM SCHOOL  

Updated procedure: Please come to the office to sign your child out. You will be given an ‘Early Departure Slip’ and will then be required to go to your child/ren’s classroom to collect them and take them home.

Student Code of Conduct

Below is a matrix that we have recently added to our Student Code of Conduct to provide clarity to the whole school community about different behaviours, the definition of these behaviours and examples of ‘Minor’ and ‘Major’ behaviours.
