Dear Parents/Caregivers,

It’s on again! Our second Come and Try day for this year will be on  this Friday the 30th October. The students had an amazing time last time around and we would like to invite them all back to do it again. Your year five or six student has been invited back to our second Come and Try day at Mount Larcom State School. Choosing the ‘right school’ for your child’s junior secondary schooling is a very important decision for the development of your young person. At Mount Larcom State School and Secondary Department, we offer a rich curriculum, with a local outlook, well suited to our students from the surrounding areas. Attending the Come and Try day offers the student to have a look at the subjects, teachers and facilities offered at Mount Larcom. We offer a diversity of subjects, with specialist teachers, each passionate about their subject areas. Class sizes are small and intimate, where students have the opportunity to thrive under our specialist care.

Attendance at the Taster Day holds no obligation to attend the school in year seven; however, it gives students a hands on look and feel for our school.

We are very proud of our school and the opportunities it gives our students to achieve to the absolute best of their abilities. Please consider us in helping to shape your child’s future.

A bus will pick up at Calliope at 8:10am and Yarwun State schools at 8:30am, normal bus services are available to Ambrose students.
