World Teachers Day – Friday 30th October - On Friday we celebrate everything about our incredible teachers. It is World Teachers Day and what a perfect day to say thank you to the teachers at our school. Thank you, teachers, for always going above and beyond for our kids and their education. You are very special people in their lives, and we thank you for showing up every day to encourage them to be the best they can be.

Subway Day

Thank you to those who have ordered Subway for their children in our Term 4 fundraiser. Delivery dates are below.

Prep – Year 2: Monday 2nd of November 2020

Year 3 – Year 6: Monday 9th of November 2020

Some orders on QKR! have been made for the wrong day (e.g. A year 6 students has ordered their meal for the 2nd of November, which is the day for P-Year 2 students). You can check that you’ve ordered for the correct day by opening the QKR! App and clicking ‘Activity’ in the top, right corner. If you have ordered on the wrong day, you can cancel and redo your order. This is something we cannot rectify from our end, so we thank you for your help in fixing this problem.

Orders are still open via the QKR! App and must be submitted by close of business TODAY please. We cannot accept late orders.

Democracy BBQ

This Saturday, the State Election polling booths will be in the school hall. We have your breakfast and lunch sorted with our Democracy BBQ. We will be selling bacon

and egg burgers, sausages in bread and drinks from 7am – 1pm. Come to school, submit your vote, and support your local P&C. It will be a COVID Safe event and we will have cash and EFTPOS facilities available.

Tuckshop & Uniform Shop

We will be open Tuesday – Friday this term. Tuckshop will be closed in Week 10 to allow time to clean, stocktake and prepare for 2021. We are still cashless so all orders via the QKR! app please.

Uniform Shop is also only available via QKR! Once you have placed your order, please allow 3 business days for your order to be processed and delivered your child’s classroom. We are all volunteers with other responsibilities, but we will do our best to get your orders to you, as soon as possible. Contact us via Facebook or via pandc@calliopess.eq.edu.au for any queries. We are always happy to help.

2021 Preparation – We have some exciting news that will make your 2021 preparation super simple next year. Stay tuned for more information next week!

Next General Meeting – Tuesday 10th of November at 6pm in the Conference Room. If members cannot attend, all apologies must be emailed please. If you would like to become a member of the P&C, to have your say about what we are doing to support our school, come along to a meeting. New members are always welcome, and we would love to see you there!
