2D has had a fabulous year and they continue to be amazing students, welcoming a new teacher into their class and showing Miss Crookey how great this class can be.

This term in English, we are writing the ending to a story we have read in class. Our budding authors have some clever and amusing endings. We have also been using computers to illustrate our stories.

We have been learning translations in Maths. This means that we are becoming amazing at doing puzzles, flipping, sliding and turning the shape the right way to complete the challenges. We have also been giving our geoboards and rubber bands a work out making shapes and showing flips and rotation.

We are also getting stuck into our assessment. For HASS we are writing narratives about how transport has changed over the past hundred years. It has been amusing to hear students ask “Miss Crookey did you ride a horse to school?”
