We have had a very busy term in Prep A, starting with celebrating 100 days of Prep in our first week back after the holidays.

We have been working hard on decoding in reading and encoding to write some simple sentences for our English and Science unit on needs of living things.

We have been working on sorting shapes, addition, subtraction, sharing, and measurement of mass, length, capacity and duration of time in Maths.

In HASS, we have been learning about features of special places and representing them in map and model form.

We have celebrated NAIDOC Week, Road Safety Week, Book Week, as well as some important awareness days, such as Bullying, No Way and R U OK Day. This week we had our Fun Run and now we are well and truly ready for a well-earned rest.
