1B have been learning about how to write recounts this term. We have enjoyed recreating our own versions of the story ‘Alexander’s Outing’. The students have done a fabulous job using words from the text and descriptive language. They have been very creative in their writing and illustrations and are looking forward to sharing their stories at our open classroom session in Week 10.

We have also been learning about shapes and measurement this term. We have enjoyed measuring objects in our class with informal units. We especially liked measuring Matilda with glue sticks.
