Technology Investment

Technology plays an important role in our every day lives and at Calliope we recognise this. We are excited to be adding an additional 60 laptops to our classrooms to support the use of IT across classes and learning areas.

Attendance Matters

We continue to promote that every day is a learning day. Naturally, at the current time, if your child is displaying any signs of illness, please do not send them to school, but with just under two weeks of the term left, now is the time to make sure they are at school every day! Students will be finalising their units of work, so it is important that they are in attendance.

With early pick ups, please ensure that these only occur when essential.

Robotic’s Success
most_improved.jpg

Despite not being able to participate in traditional face to face competition style for the annual Gladstone Robotics competition, our Calliope student entry has been successful in being awarded- Best Response to Feedback, Most Improved! Well done to our students involved and the coaches for providing this opportunity to our students.

P&C Meeting

Please note the P&C meeting has been rescheduled to next Tuesday 15 September, 6pm. If you are attending, please email the P&C for record keeping purposes- pandc@calliopess.eq.edu.au

School Swimming

Over the coming days, you will receive home permission notes for Term 4 swimming. Please complete these and return to your child’s teacher. Note that all swimmers are required to wear a swimming cap for pool lessons.
