Welcome back everyone to Term 3! We hope you are well rested and have had a fabulous holiday period with family and friends. NAIDOC Week 2025 fell in the holidays this year on 6-13^th July. Calliope State School are celebrating NAIDOC Week this week with playtime activities run by staff and class activities led by teachers. A big thank you to one of our parents Jodi Hallam for offering to come in to run whole cohort activities with students.

Our Prep classes will celebrate 100 Days of Prep this Thursday. Students and teachers dress up for the occasion and will take part in classroom activities.

Calliope State School’s Student Code of Conduct will be reviewed this term. Our Student Code of Conduct was developed and published in 2020 and reviewed in 2022 in consultation with staff, students and parents. This document is our school’s behaviour policy, with information about school rules, consequences and processes for addressing bullying and the use of technology. As part of the review, we will be requesting staff, student, P & C and parent input in the coming weeks around this document.
