Congratulations to our Calliope SS Rugby League team. They recently competed in the Tony Martin Cup Competition. They had two big wins against West and Kin Kora to place them first in their pool. Calliope SS for the first time in years played in the Tony Martin Cup final against St Johns. Sadly, St Johns came away with the win. Mrs Betts was very proud of the Calliope team spirit and sportsmanship and loved how both teams couldn’t wait to get a photo together.

Sport teaches kids that it’s not just about the scoreboard- it’s about standing side by side, cheering each other on, and building mateship that lasts far beyond the game.
