Last Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon Calliope State School held its Junior Athletic carnivals. We had two fun-filled afternoons of sprints and athletic inspired rotational activities. Mrs Betts would like to give a huge shout out to the amazing Year 6 students who helped her out running stations at the carnivals. She was very impressed of how confident and reliable the older students were.

On Thursday and Friday students in Year 3 to Year 6 participated in our school Athletics carnival. It was two great days of athletics and friendly rivalry between our house teams. Mrs Betts was very proud of the efforts and sportsmanship of all our students who took part.

A huge thank you to all the people who helped with the set up and running of the carnivals. Teamwork makes the dream work!
