P&C News
Here we are in Week 5 of Term 3 and we get a short school week. We hope that our families and staff spent the long weekend recharging, ready to tackle another week.
Pie Drive
Last week, Pie Drive letters and order forms were sent home via email. If you haven’t seen it yet, please have a read and make sure you check your junk folder. Notes are also being sent home with the eldest student, as we are aware there is a formatting issue with the emailed version. We are very excited to be able to hold a Pie Drive this term and we hope that families can support it.
Orders are due back by Monday 24th of August. NO LATE ORDERS CAN BE ACCEPTED, SORRY. Please return order forms and money to the P&C Box outside the office.
Delivery Days
Prep – Year 2: Wednesday 9th of September
Year 3 – Year 6: Wednesday 16th of September
For families with children in different year levels, your delivery date will be determined by your eldest child’s year level.
Fathers’ Day is on Sunday 6th of September this year. We are super thrilled to be able to hold our Fathers’ Day Stall in 2020, with everything else going on. It is great to be in Queensland, but we are certainly thinking of everyone in other states at this challenging time. Our P&C will be seeking parent volunteers to help at our stalls. Please email pandc@calliopess.eq.edu.au if you can help out. We will be confirming dates ASAP, but they should be in Week 8 (Monday 31st August – Friday 4th August). Tuckshop & Uniform Shop
This term, Tuckshop will be open First and Second Breaks, Tuesday through to Friday. We are still cashless, due to COVID procedures, so make sure you place all Tuckshop and uniform orders on the Flexischools App. Contact us via Facebook or via pandc@calliopess.eq.edu.au for any queries regarding uniforms or tuckshop. We are always happy to help.
Flexischools
We have found an alternative to Flexischools which is more user friendly for our families and our P&C. Throughout this term we will be transitioning to use QKR, but don’t worry, this will be a slow transition. For now, Flexischools is still in use and this is the best way to order your tuckshop and uniforms. We will keep you updated as the transition begins in the coming weeks. Watch this space!
