On Friday the 7^th of August Australia celebrates Primary Principals' Day. This year, perhaps more than ever, we have seen just how Mr Wright, Mrs C and Ms Norris step up to show leadership ever day at Calliope State School. Thank you for guiding our students, our teachers and our families through the challenges of 2020 and making Calliope State School a positive learning environment.

We are holding a Pie Drive this term. Letters and order forms will be sent home very soon via email. Please be aware that it may be directed to your junk folder. We are very excited to be able to hold a Pie Drive this term and we hope that families can support it. Delicious warm pies are perfect in this cooler weather.

Orders are due back by Monday 24th of August. NO LATE ORDERS CAN BE ACCEPTED, SORRY.

Delivery Days

Prep – Year 2: Wednesday 9th of September

Year 3 – Year 6: Wednesday 16th of September

For families with children in different year levels, your delivery date will be determined by your eldest child’s year level.

Tuckshop

This term, Tuckshop will be open First and Second Breaks, Tuesday through to Friday. We are still cashless, due to COVID procedures, so make sure you place all orders on the Flexischools App.

Flexischools

We have found an alternative to Flexischools which is more user friendly for our families and our P&C. Throughout this term we will be transitioning to use QKR, but don’t worry, this will be a slow transition. For now, Flexischools is still in use and this is the best way to order your tuckshop and uniforms. We will keep you updated as the transition begins in the coming weeks. Watch this space!
