PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Welcome to Week 10 of Term 2. This week we celebrated Under 8’s Day. It was extremely well organised and students had an amazing time. Smiley and Nugget were also out and about enjoying the morning with all the students. Report Cards will be emailed out on Thursday afternoon, but they will not be on QParents until early next term. This Friday is our Principal’s Parade.
Resilience Project
This Friday after the Principal’s Parade we bring The Resilience Project to our families. Our school has been incorporating The Resilience Project into our school since the beginning of the year. In the last few weeks I have noticed the
language of some of our students begin to change from negative words to a more positive outlook on life. As a reminder, on Friday of Week Ten we are bringing The Resilience Project to our families. We will have our normal Principal’s Parade, followed by a presentation for all our families on The Resilience Project and how you can be resilient as a family. This will be followed by our open classrooms where you can see Resilience Project lessons in action. Families are then welcome to join your children for a picnic lunch on our grassed area. Please put this day into your calendars.

I wish all our families all the best for the winter break. Hopefully our families will be able to take some time to share quality time together. It will be a great opportunity to log into The Resilience Project Portal and do some activities as a family. You will receive a text from the school after this week's Principal Parade to be able to access The Resilience Portal. This will be Part One of the video series for parents. This will also provide access to the parent and carers hub. Four more videos will be sent via a text next term.
