Hi Families
As the cold months approach us quickly, the Uniform Shop have jumpers to keep your children warm. We are phasing out the zip up hoodies, so please get in quick, but we still have the pull over hoodies.
Sports day is in a couple of weeks. The Uniform Shop has plenty of sport shirts in stock. This Friday will be the last chance before sports day to grab a new sports shirt if you need one.
The P&C has organised for new Container for change bins to be distributed around our school for students to use.
Each year, approximately three billion beverage containers are generated in our state alone and they’re the second most littered item. So, to help us all improve our recycling efforts Containers for Change scheme awards a 10c refund for each eligible container.
Containers for Change provides an exciting opportunity for our P&C to raise much needed funds.
Anyone can choose to donate to our P&C via our scheme ID #C10002245 when they return their containers to a refund point.
You will also see a new collection bin outside the school really soon!
Volunteers Wanted!!!
We are desperately needing more volunteers to help make our fundraisers successful. We have taken on board your ideas and to make these happen, we will need more volunteers. You won’t be left with long list of tasks to do, just an extra set of hands can make a huge difference.
If you can spare an hour or two for the following events, please let us know via email or our Facebook page.
Sports Day Pop Up Tuckshop – Friday 7th June (Year 3-6 only) 9:30am – 2:30pm
If you can assist for an hour between 9:30 – 2:30 pm, it would be greatly appreciated.
BBQ cook
- Serving food and drinks
- Making sandwiches/burgers
- Food preparation
- Help set up & down
Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser – Sunday 16th June 8am -4 pm
If you can assist for an hour between 8am – 4pm , it would be greatly appreciated. Time allocation will be in next weeks newsletter and on our Facebook page.
