Wear Purple for Domestic Violence
May is recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness & Prevention Month. This month is dedicated to raising community awareness of the social and personal impacts of domestic and family violence, as well as highlighting the support available to those affected. On Monday 13 May, students and staff were invited to wear purple for a gold coin donation. Calliope State School raised $191.00. This money was donated back to our local area committee member from Domestic Violence.
Thankyou to our Calliope State School families for all your support in raising this money. Well Done.
