Hi Families
A big THANK YOU to our wonderful school for putting on such a lovely morning tea for all the volunteers on Monday. National Volunteer week is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering. This special event provides an opportunity to highlight the important role of volunteers in our school community and invites people not currently involved to give it a go.
Speaking of volunteers, the P&C are seeking volunteers for the following upcoming events.
Sports Day Pop Up Tuckshop – Friday 7th June
- BBQ cook
- Serving food and drinks
- Making sandwiches/burgers
- Food preparation
- Help set up & down
Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser – Sunday 16th June
- BBQ cook
- Food preparation
- Serving food and drinks
- Help set up & down
If you spare an hour of your time to help out during the day, please send us a message on our Facebook page.
Please remember, you don’t have to be a member of the P&C to volunteer.
Uniform Shop
We will be trailing a new collection arrangement for uniforms starting Friday 24th May.
- Parents and students are welcomed to collect their uniform orders directly from the Uniform shop between the hours of 8:30 - 9am every Friday. If not collected
- An orange slip will be placed into the classroom pigeonhole for teachers to collect and give to students to collect their uniform orders from the Tuckshop at 2:30pm every Friday. The student will be required to initial that they have collected there uniform along with their orange slip.
This is only a trial until June school holidays. We will advise if this arrangement will be permanent after our next P&C Meeting held in June.
The cooler weather as set in, so don’t miss out on ordering your child’s school jumper and if you have been waiting to order a size 14 school shirt, they are now back in stock.
