Our School Review is scheduled to take place next week.
Equity and Excellence
Across the system three priorities have been identified for Digital innovation in teaching and learning:
- Digitally connected: Setting critical foundations through digital connectivity and access to devices for students.
- Digitally learning: Preparing every student for success in a digital world by creating engaging digital learning opportunities.
- Digitally capable: Empowering a digitally capable and confident teaching workforce.
Some examples of system support for school leaders and teaching teams that can impact on student learning are:
- Digitally connected:
- Improving connectivity through bandwidth upgrade.
- Connecting students to digital learning opportunities.
- Digitally learning:
- Provide students with the opportunity to develop their digital competency.
- Support parents to become digital learning partners.
- Digitally capable:
- Enhancing the capability and confidence of teachers
- Implementing strategies to respond to advances in technology and contribute to the development of guidelines such as the Australian Framework for Generative Artificial Intelligence in Schools.
