5B have had a fun and engaging Term 1!
In Science, while exploring the transfer of light our budding scientists embarked on a journey to unravel the mysteries of light, delving deep into concepts such as reflection, refraction, and the manipulation of light waves. With enthusiasm and curiosity as their guiding lights, our students embraced the challenge of understanding the fundamental properties of light and its behaviour when it encounters various mediums.
One of the highlights of the Science assessment was the exploration of how light can be altered and controlled to create mesmerizing effects. Students engaged in hands-on experiments where they manipulated lenses, prisms and mirrors to observe the fascinating phenomena of reflection, refraction and absorption of light.

Students have embraced the GEM program showing Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness in the learning and school environment.
5B students are enjoying mindfulness activities and calm yoga to set themselves up for the learning sessions.
