WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS WITH MRS BETTS
A huge congratulations to our wake-boarding champ Mia! She travelled to Melbourne over the weekend and won both the events she competed in. The first was a kicker competition where she had 3 attempts of hitting the kicker and performing tricks. She landed all 3 of her (straight air tail grab, 360 & front flip) winning by 27 points. The second was a features event where she has to hit all the obstacles on the park and perform her best and cleanest hit in each section in the park. She won 5 out of 6 sections and won by 16 points.

Our U10s Calliope Rugby League team had a lot of fun at the PJ Marsh Carnival last Friday. We played 6 games and came fifth out of the 12 teams in the competition. It was a fun day of footy! Mrs Betts and Coach Jok were very proud of their amazing effort and sportsmanship throughout the day. Congratulations to Kai for getting the ‘Player of the Carnival’ for Calliope, and being selected in the Port Curtis U10 Rugby League team!
A big thank you to Jok for coaching the side and Vanessa for being our FAO on the day!
