Hello everyone! We had a wonderful and productive P&C meeting last night. Thanks to everyone who attended; it was great to see you all there! Items discussed include; future fundraisers, this term’s calendar of events and we heard from Mrs Mackenzie on results from the recent School Opinion Survey and how this is applied to next year’s strategic planning. There is still a lot going on as this term progresses into planning for 2024! Mrs Mackenzie and our P&C President and Vice President will be getting their heads together as part of the strategic planning process. Who loves a democratic sausage?? We certainly do!! This Saturday is referendum day and our school hall is an AEC polling place. So what a fantastic opportunity to hold a democratic sausage sizzle fundraiser! We hope to be offering snags on bread from 10am. We are also very excited that the QCWA Calliope branch will be joining us with a baking and jams stall! If you have an hour to spare on Saturday at some time between 10am and 3pm and can lend a hand; please drop us an email. If not and you’re doing the mad dash in and out; make sure you still pop in and see us for some goodies when casting your vote.

Our final fundraiser for this year will be a Christmas raffle, drawn on parade in Week 9. We have a very special P&C member, Crystal, who has gone above and beyond securing some amazing prizes and vouchers to ensure this fundraiser is a success! Watch this space and our Facebook page (don’t forget to like us while you’re there) for more details on prizes on offer and ticket sales. In the meantime, if any of our families have businesses and wish to make a donation; please send us an email on the details below. We would greatly appreciate anything on offer and as always; all profits from our fundraisers go straight back into funding educational ventures and experiences for all of our wonderful students.
