Hi everyone! Can you believe that Term 3 is all but over?! We hope that the Year 5 students have a wonderful time at camp this week. We were so pleased to be able to subsidise the bus cost to keep camp costs as low as possible for families.

Did you know we are part of the Drakes Community Dollars program? Remember when we used to have key tags to scan when we made purchases at Calliope Drakes Supermarket? Now you can download the myDrakes app to your smart phone, select Calliope SS to support through the Community Dollars program and scan your phone when you shop in store. What an easy way to help raise funds for our school!

Thanks to our Breakfast Club Funding, we are able to hold another sausage sizzle breakfast on Thursday September 14^th, which is also R U OK day?! This is a great opportunity to encourage conversations and connections while sharing a free breakfast! All students are welcome to come to the Tuckshop for a free sausage in bread from 8:35-9:00am, while stocks last.

Last night we held our monthly P&C Meeting. Topics discussed include; 2024 senior shirts, Yr 6 Graduation, future Fundraisers and community grants on offer that we are applying for. The best way to have a say in decisions being made is to come along to a meeting! Our next meeting will be in Week 2 of next term on Tuesday October 10^th at 5:00pm in the Administration building.
