Last week it was fantastic to welcome over 620 of our students back to fulltime schooling onsite. I want to thank both our students and parents for the way that you have acknowledged the changes to drop off and pick up arrangements during the current time. Please remember to keep your social distancing at the gates and depart quickly when you have your child.

Rock Your Socks for Chappy Week

It was a sea of colourful socks on Friday as our school community came together to recognise our wonderful Chappy Mel and the work she does in our school as our Chaplain. Mel has a diverse role, which sees her supporting students, staff and parents, and she is never shy with offering her positive smile and ear to listen.

New Fencing

Over the weekend, we had some new fencing installed along the front of the school between the prep buildings and main library entry. This fencing will make the junior sector of our school more safe and secure, with our younger students.

Foods at School

We ask that foods, including for celebrations (cakes etc) are not brought to school for sharing between students. With an increase in students with different allergies and intolerances, please consider the items you are sending with your children and minimise these where possible, eg: nuts.

Key Reminders

Don’t forget to ensure that your child brings with them the following everyday:

• Hat
• Water bottle

Feedback

We are always open to feedback as this helps our school to continuously grow and improve. There are many appropriate ways to provide feedback to our school and we appreciate the time and effort people have taken to ensure they are using these avenues.
