Bicycle Safety Program
I am running a workshop for Bicycle owners / users on the 12 of August.
It is free to attend, and the purposes are as follows…
We will deliver a safety program covering road use rules and bicycle use. This will be delivered through CTC Youth and their certified trainers.
Additionally we will offer a quick maintenance check of bicycles. ( some small component spares will be available at cost should those components be required. )
We are encouraging participation from any of our school children and adults throughout the communities of theValley.
We are also hoping that we can attract people from further afield…Monto, Calliope, GRC region…or even touring visitors.
I will have a number of bicycles on site for those that would like to participate but don’t own a bicycle.
9am start time, with the aim to have a sausage sizzle for lunch from around 11:30am.
If from there, people are interested in riding the trail, Golimbil through the tunnels to Barrimoon we can organise that after the lunch period.
We can organise transfer to the top of the range, chaperone ride down through the tunnels and collection at the Barrimoon siding to return to the Discovery Centre.
Please share far and wide, hope to see you to.
Cheers
