Weekly Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) ...
Welcome to Week 5 of Term 2. Exciting news as Year's 3-6 will be joining us next week and school will return to full strength. This week’s PBL lesson is: Respectful – The classroom is our learning space. Although students often experience fun activities at school, the main purpose is naturally focused on education and the best way to ensure your child has a great education is if everyone respects the learning environment. We can do this in a number of ways:
- Being prepared are ready, lined up for class with our equipment;
- Following all teacher directions quickly;
- Listening and showing respect when the teacher or another student is talking to the class; and,
- Completing all set work to the best of our abilities.
This strategy works just as well in the classroom as it does in a learning from home environment, so please take a few minutes to go over this with your child/children. For those learning at home, you can find the weekly PBL lesson in your Wellbeing folder on the EdStudio.
