5B has had a great holiday break and we have jumped right back into learning. In English we are learning to analyse poetry, which means we are having fun exploring tongue twisters, musical lyrics and lots of fun and silly poems. 

In Maths we are looking at angles, 3D shapes and symmetry. We are looking forward to exploring these ideas with hand on learning and art works. 

HASS is all about the olden days this term, which is fitting because 5B has a teacher that is ancient and knows all about the olden days! Miss Crookey was asked if she had to ride a horse to school when she was younger. 

5B is loving Science this term, we are learning all about Space and the different planets and other objects in our solar system. Our minds were blown when we saw a website that showed us the size differences between objects in space, we didn't realise how big the universe could be! Today we were all able to go to Star Lab and see the presentation, it was really fun to go and learn inside the inflatable dome.
