PBL Weekly Lesson
The PBL lesson focus this week is ‘Hands and Feet to Self’. Last week, students were engaged in Calliope News where the students watched a strategy that could help them when faced with an altercation and they get angry (in red zone). Across the school, students will look at why it is important to keep our hands and feet to ourselves and what strategies we can use to make sure this is going to happen. P-2 will be watching a social story and 3-6 will be having class discussions about what rough play look like and then identifying how to play safely. If you would like a copy of the lesson that we do at school to reinforce at home, please email jxran4@eq.edu.au.
Week 4 Whole School Triangle Data – Major Incidents
Our Major incidents data is fantastic at the moment with only 2.62% of students with 2 or more major incidents by the end of Week 5. This means that 97.38% of students have been involved in 1 or less major incidents and all students have been involved in 5 or less incidents. We have a lot of supports in place to support our students that are in Teir 2 to not move to Teir 3 and many support for students who are currently in Teir 1 not moving to Teir 2.
